The proposal is to provide bus access via a bus-ramp to conform to DDA requirements. This requires the kerb to be straight.

The council wants to know which of two options is best.

CCC's response

Option 1 would result in the residents' parking on the south side of the road being nearer the bus stop on the north side. We believe this means westbound traffic would follow a less natural line as it passes the bus stop which could be distracting for cyclists and car drivers alike. Camden Cycling Campaign therefore favours Option 2: to modify the kerb at the existing bus stop.
