CCC Response to Questionnaire

Report on CRIM

Buses consultation on Swiss Cottage gyratory preempts meeting planned with TfL. But mayor says the contraflow has not yet been rejected.

Meeting with TfL at Swiss Cottage August 2007.

CCC (Meade and Jean) met with JMP (Mark Powers) TfL (Jamilla Barrett) Camden Council (Dave Stewart) LCN+ (Alan Logan and Steve Cardno) to discuss the barrierbto cycling presented by the gyratory.

JMP were asked to provide outline drawings for:

  1. Removing the gyratory and re-establishing 2-way working with Avenue Road as a high street and the A41 alng Finchley Road
  2. Segregated two-way cycling on Avenue Road

Draft CRISP Report November 15th 2007.

This was sent out to stakeholders by David Hunter. Mark Powers is away until the end of December. David Hunter announced meeting data 19th december. CCC wanted to wait until Mark Powers returned and Meade available in 3rd week January for meeting to discuss the report. Dave Stewart persuaded CCC to agree to the meeting date so that he could progress the work.

Final CRISP Report January 2008

The report was as agreed apart from a reversal of the decision that we should have an option for removing the gyratory recommended and many other minor errors which we had reported. Dave Stewart supported our demand for corrections (to Dave Hunter) but we have heard nothing.
