COMMITTEE MEETING

Introduction
Members introduced themselves to Connie Rozes, who has kindly offered to help with running the committee..
Minutes and Matters arising
Doubts were expressed about the value of our participating in the Camden Community and Police Consultative Group. However, agreed to ask for a volunteer at the AGM.
AOB
Anne reported that the forthcoming meeting with Royal Parks had been postponed until July. Stefano reported a message from Ruth (Royal parks) noting that the opening of the Broad Walk cycle route had been delayed with no date given.
Events Agreed to participate in the following festivals:

Helen agreed to make entries for these events in the next newsletter.
John to announce dates of rides, when known.

The following agreed to steward: John, Jean, Stefano, Anne, Dominic, James
Notification of meetings
It was agreed to make only one automatic announcement of forthcoming meetings on the CCC mailing list one week before the meeting.
The chair will then announce the meeting with ‘Members’ Meeting’ in its subject line.
It was also agreed to adopt Dominic’s formula for description of meetings, consisting of:
A paragraph describing the main focus of the members’ meeting
- bullets summarising any other matters to be considered
followed by the sentence:’ This will be preceded by the Committee meeting, at which the following will be discussed – ‘
- bullets describing the main points of the committee meeting
Jean will update the chair’s instructions
Green Fair
Stefano brought everyone up to date about the Green Fair, at which three bike shops will be represented.
Jean agreed to bring the CCC leaflet up to date in time for the Green Fair
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Additional members present for the AGM: George Coulouris, Peter McKay, Alex McKinnell, Steve Cardno
Annual Coordinators report presented by Stefano.
Mentioned various events including: St Pancras demo, London Freewheel, Tour de France, but emphasised that main objective is campaigning, especially at the local level. Importance of young cyclists. Hence the BikeBus scheme. Noted that Jean has been nominated as a Camden Hero, though the results of the competition are not yet known.
Annual Treasurers report
James presented a single page showing income and outgoings grouped into various categories. Noted that large net inflow of funds was due to receipt of BikeBus grant, none of which had yet been spent. John noted that the year would have been loss-making without this grant.

Committee stood down, and chair was taken by George Coulouris, who asked for nominations for:

† Dominic agreed to act as Secretary until someone is available to fill the role permanently. James will continue to take notes of meetings until then.
Dominic then resumed the chair and asked for volunteers for the CCC representative on the Camden Community and Police Liaison Group. As none was forthcoming he agreed to advertise the post on the website.
The meeting was then joined by Cllr Paul Braithwaite, Tom Bogdanovicz (LCC), Rachel Bower (Hackney Cyclists), and Brian Deegan (Camden Consultancy Service).
