File Conditions for Cyclists at a Kings Cross Junction
This note attempts to provide a detailed description of the dangers to cyclists at the junction Euston Road/ conditions for cycling on the carriageway. These are covered in section 4.3. York Way/Grays Inn Road, referring to the standards set out in LCDS (London Cycle Design Standards) and the actual situation for cyclists crossing between Grays Inn Road and York Way.

We propose a two-way cycle route between West End Lane and Belsize Road via the west end of Broadhurst Gardens and Priory Road. This could be a useful quiet alternative to the congested part of West End Lane.

Judd Street can remain two-way and cycling in both directions on Midland Road: when Midland Road is re-opened only taxis, buses, service vehicles and those picking up passengers should be given access.

File Journey Times to Hampstead Heath
TfL journey planner was used to calculate times to travel from 2 and 3 miles away by crow fly. Cycling took about 20 and 30 mins respectively whereas bus/train took an hour or more in most cases.
