Bikes on Eurostar

Document Actions
From 7th April 2008, you will be able to book your bike onto a particular Eurostar

We heard today that Eurostar have lived up to their promise - we received an email saying:

  • I am delighted to advise that the bikes on board same train booking scheme will be launched on 7th April, as previously advised. You can find details on the bicycle pages of our website.

See Eurostar Bicycles page

Unfortunatley, you can't do a single integrated booking with Eurostar and Euro Dispatch (who load the bikes on the trains), but we were told:

  • To reserve your bike on a Eurostar service choose the train time(s) which would be suitable for your journey and then phone Eurostar Dispatch to check on available space. When you’ve identified a particular train with free space, book your ticket and then call back with your reference number to make the reservation.

They've also improved information about where to park at St Pancras International and have offered to link to a map showing how to get there by bike. You find that from the bicycle page.

We still need to persuade them to put by bike higher up the page.
