Herts and Beds Ride
Medium paced ride through quiet countryside from St Albans, ending up at Harlington, both on Thameslink line. About 50 km. Lunch stop at Emily's Tea Shop in Whitwell. Starts on Sustrans route from St Albans then on small roads via Ayot St Lawrence, a bit hilly but only one hard one into Harlington at the end of the ride. Trains are not stopping at Kentish Town that day so we will meet at 1040 at West Hampstead Thameslink station for the 1055 train to St Albans. Alternatively you could join the same train at St Pancras, leaving at 1048. There is a quicker return available via Luton for those who wish to peel-off.
